Hello! I’m the CEO of My Medical Scheduler, and my journey has been shaped by a deep passion for structure & growth. I’m a connector by nature. I’m a proud mom of three—two boys aged 12 and 29, and a lively Husky-German Shepherd mix puppy. Born in Towson, Maryland, I attended the University of Maryland, and later transferred and graduated from Towson University, and in 2007, I moved to Indianapolis, where I met my husband.
Throughout my career across the legal, banking, investment, and healthcare industries, my purpose has always been rooted in being a trusted advisor. I find joy in listening to audiobooks, reading, cooking, Sudoku, podcasts and enjoying nature. Some of my favorite travel memories include Aruba, Puerto Rico, and England, and I dream of blending short getaways and extended adventures with friends and family.
I founded My Medical Scheduler after experiencing firsthand the complexities and challenges of caregiving. From managing my parents’ out-of-state care—navigating my dad’s traumatic brain injury recovery in Maryland and my mom’s unexpected care needs during a vacation—to nearly a decade of increasing responsibilities for my husband’s parents, caregiving transformed our lives. Adding to this, my 7-year-old son’s ACL injury and nine-month rehabilitation journey gave me insight into the demands of both pediatric and elder care. I also witnessed these struggles among friends and extended family. Whether caregiving came unexpectedly or was anticipated, one constant was clear: taking on this role alone leads to miss opportunities for resilience and increased stress.
This is why I created My Medical Scheduler, a service dedicated to fostering a connected care community for caregivers and patients of medical professionals. Our approach is to offer caregivers a supported journey once they leave the 4 walls of a medical facility instead of going it alone in the home. Our services focus on reducing fall risks at home, following the doctor’s orders from home, and preventing unnecessary hospital visits while at home, making efforts for the loved one to thrive at home. By coordinating tasks ongoing or set intervals, like doctor’s appointments, home equipment orders, and meal arrangements, we create a shared-load system that paves the way for resilient in-home recovery.
If you’re a medical professional dedicated to helping patients transition smoothly from hospital care to home recovery or a caregiver striving to provide the best in-home support for your loved one, we’re here to help.
